After graduating his high school he worked at hotels as a chef assistant for many years.

He loves the sea and yacht life, so he became captain. For this reason, he left high school and started to work at his father's yacht.

Ekincik is a picturesque coastal village located in the Marmaris district of Muğla Province, Turkey. Day 5: Bozburun - Bozukkale - Serce

Sail back east to Bozburun to visit a Turkish coastal town, which is home to some very friendly folk with rural backgrounds. Bozburun was once an important sponge-fishing centre, but is now better known as a centre for boat building. There is a small selection of shops here and some small cafes and restaurants. Return to Bozukkale for a chance to see the ruins of ancient Loryma, and continue to Serce, the overnight stop and site of one of the most important underwater excavations ever carried out: the excavation of the “Glass Wreck” – the artifacts recovered during this work are now displayed in the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology.

Day 7: Caunos - Dalyan

Board a small riverboat for a tour of ancient Caunos and Dalyan. The riverboat travels at a leisurely pace, making its way inland along the reed-lined channels of the Dalyan River delta. As the area is under environmental protection, you will likely see various wildlife, including turtles, herons, and kingfishers. Afterward, board the riverboat again for the short ride upriver to Dalyan town. Mid-journey, the boat passes beneath some impressive Lycian rock tombs. Return to the yacht in Ekincik and set sail for Kumlu Buku. Overnight in Kumlu Buku, with dinner, either ashore at the Kumlu Buku Yacht Club or onboard your yacht

Day 4: Datca - Palamut Buku

Re-entering Turkey in the port of Datça, just a short sail from Symi, it is possible to take an overland tour to “The Olive Farm” and visit “Old Datca” with its winding cobblestone streets and quaint stone houses. Perhaps enjoy some freshly made lemonade in one of the shady cafes before returning to the harbour. In the afternoon, sail down to the ancient harbour of Knidos for some excellent sightseeing amongst the magnificent ruins of this most famous of ancient cities. Overnight in a nearby bay, perhaps “Palamut Buku,” with dinner ashore or onboard.

Day 1: Marmaris - Kardiga Bay

Embark in Marmaris and set sail for Kadirga Bay, a beautiful bay with clear blue waters, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Later in the day, settle down to read a book or take a nap in the gentle afternoon sun as your yacht makes its way further down the coast and into the landlocked harbour of Bozukkale. Anchor beneath the walls of an ancient citadel and enjoy dinner ashore in a rustic bayside setting, or onboard, under the stars. 


Day 6: Ekincik Bay

Cross to Ekincik Bay in the morning and spend a day at leisure in these most beautiful bays, where thick pine forest tumbles down steep slopes to the water’s edge, and time seems to slow right down. Go ashore to “My Marina Restaurant” before sunset and have a meal overlooking the waters of the Mediterranean. It is a unique setting, and the view is magnificent!

Day 2: Rhodes

Early morning departure for Rhodes. Arrive into the Colonna harbour, Rhodes, just prior to breakfast. The walls of the medieval Crusader are visible from the harbour and will beckon all to visit the “old town” for shopping or sightseeing. One of the highlights of any visit to Rhodes’ old town is a quiet walk down the “Avenue of the Knights,” a cobblestone street that has been traversed since the time of the Crusaders. If you wish to do a thorough exploration of Rhodes’ old city, it is recommended that you tour in the company of an English-speaking guide, a local who has a wealth of information to share. Dine ashore in a colorful Greek taverna, then set out to see the town of Rhodes by night.


Day 8: Marmaris

Going back to Marmaris in the morning for disembarkation.

DAy 3: Symi

A late afternoon approach is one of the most beautiful sights imaginable. Cross from Rhodes to the island of Symi and anchor in one of the many beautiful and remote bays on the eastern side of the island, perhaps Aghios Georghios Dhysalonas Bay. On the late afternoon, move on around going to Symi harbour. Once the yacht is moored on the town quay, go ashore to take the sights and sounds of this delightful small harbour. Symi Harbour’s waterfront is adorned with 19th-century neo-Classical buildings, and many fine examples of this type of architecture can be found nestled in the folds of hills surrounding the port. It goes without saying that this is a wonderful place for a memorable night out in Greece!

Palamutbuku is reputed to have the best beaches in the Datca peninsula. The beaches are small but very beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and spotted with gardens, these beaches are known for their tranquillity and fresh sea air, presenting the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. 

Palamutbuku is located at the end of the peninsula and is also famed for the remains of the historic city of Knidos. The waters here are crystal clear, so much so that it is believed that if you take a needle at the very bottom of the sea, you can still see it!

Bozburun - Dirsekbuku

Bozburun is renowned for the thriving sponge business and gulet yacht construction industry. Some of the best wood and craftsmen for building strong and beautiful gullet boats are to be found in this region, which is why leading names in the business employ Bozburun’s boat makers. 

Dirsekbuku is located between the Gulf of the Aegean Sea and the Gulf of Hisaronu. Many tourists travel from Bodrum to Marmaris and stop here for rest, which is why this region has several sheltered bays.

Bozukkale - Serce Bay

Bozukkale (Loryma) is an ancient city that dates back to 10 BC. The castle walls have nine towers extending in a mutually rectangular pattern. The castle and towers are very well preserved and appear in a solid state. Bozukkale served as a bay cruise stretch for British naval ships and is now considered a shipyard on the shore.

Serce is where the Blue Cruise boat moor. The place offers a brilliant image of the bottom of the harbour and is well protected from the harshest weather conditions. Underwater surveys and excavations have led to many discoveries, including centuries-old glassware, now kept in the Bodrum Underwater Museum.

Witness the world's oxygen tank at Aktur! Spotted with pine trees, it is a slice of paradise. Aktur consists of two units, namely Datca and Kurucabuk, located at a distance of 4 km from each other. The Hisaronu bay is located very close to the narrowest strip of the Datca peninsula and separates the Gulf of Gokova from the Gulf of Hisaronu. 

Just across the bay from Selimiye, Bencik offers a quiet and protected anchorage in amongst a pine forest. Bencik Bay has a very narrow entrance but a unique view once you get inside. Bencik is located at the narrowest part of the peninsula that divides Hisaronu Gulf from the Gokova, but it is located on Hisaronu's side.

We had an unforgettable week on board S NUR TAYLAN. The yacht itself was stunning, with plenty of space for all 16 of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the Turkish coast. The crew were outstanding and made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped aboard. The captain was very knowledgeable and took us to some amazing secluded bays and beaches. The chef prepared delicious meals every day, catering for all of our dietary requirements. The deckhands were always on hand to help us with water sports and keep the yacht in tip-top condition. The hostess made sure we were always comfortable and well looked after. We couldn't recommend S NUR TAYLAN highly enough!
