Special Conditions
The charter fee covers the following:
The rental of the Vessel with all its equipment functioning properly; tools; supplies; cleaning products and basic consumables for the engine room, deck, kitchen, and cabins; laundry for the ship's linens; crew wages, uniforms, and vessel insurance.
Additional costs to consider:
Expenses like fuel, port charges, and provisions will be deducted from the APA. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the Charterer before leaving the vessel. If the APA does not cover all expenses, additional funds may be needed to fill the gap.
It is explicitly stated that the VAT rate mentioned and applied here is the current rate under existing tax laws and is subject to change without notice. If tax law changes occur after the issuance of this agreement, affecting the total amount(s) due, the difference will be charged or credited to the Charterer's account accordingly.
A crew gratuity of 5% to 10% of the base charter fee is customary but left to the Charterer's discretion.
